Pennays was such a great location, 5-minute walk to River Run. All i all a nice place to stay. Needs some updating to our room number 8. Everything worked fine a was comfortable. The ski mobile ride to and from the slopes wasn't working but not a big deal but should not be counted on. Maybe on weekends. All in all we had a nice stay and would return on our next visit.

My husband and I have stayed here several times. Being close enough to walk to the River Run lifts is ideal. The condo is clean and warm, the people who run the place are very accommodating.

If you love to ski, this is the place for you. Couldn't be any closer. Short walk or sleigh ride to River Run Plaza. Pet Friendly and adjacent to the Wood River Trail. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Very clean and quiet. Staff was very helpful and all the appliances worked as advertised. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great experience here - there were plenty of kitchen pans to allow us to make small breakfasts and lunches. We were warmly greeted the first day of our arrival by Cheri, the property manager, who filled us in on the shortcuts to the ski hill. Please make sure you speak to her before you go out - you are closer than you think! It was a great experience and although the units are slightly dated , we found everything we needed and enjoyed the stay tremendously. For the most part, this was exactly what we needed - very kind willingness to help us find our way - that means more than the facility to us.

Travelling with pets can be a challenge, not everyone welcomes them, but at Pennay's the opposite is true. It is wonderfully convenient for dog walking, and cat and dogs enjoyed looking out the deck doors to see who else was staying there. We crate our dogs at night, bring a blanket to cover our bed, and a towel for the chair where puss cat chooses to nap in an effort to try to be as respectful as possible to Alan's property and in appreciation of the fact that they let us bring the "kids" If you are a cook, heads up that supplies are very basic, so you might want to pack any must have items, or plan to hit the local stores to fill in what you are missing. The staff is as nice as can be, manager Cheri is wonderfully efficient, housekeepers Marisol, Lupe, and Rose Alba all helpful and willing to whatever we asked to keep things in good order the 10 days we were there. Great spot, we are already planning our next visit.

Great little condo for our family of four in a quite location right at the base of River Run in Sun Valley. Easy to walk downtown to Ketchum (and walk back after splitting a bottle of wine), nice and quiet. Some amenities in the unit a little dated, but all clean, quiet, and cozy.

This location is close to River Run lodge. We walked to Ketchum one day and to the River Run area one day. Nights were cool and perfect in every way. The property is so well located, clean and the owner is someone you want to know We have been staying at Pennay's for the past five years.
Homey, old school, fireplace didn’t turn on consistently & shower temp control needed a fix one day. Simple, clean and decent price... loved location!
