Pennay's Unit 3

We had a wonderful time at Pennay’s. The location was fantastic. It was wonderfully close to the ski lifts. Our kids enjoyed the snow mobile back to the property after a day on the lifts. Housekeeping was great and changed out towels every other day. Loved having a washer and dryer to clean our baselayers. The home was clean and had all the essentials. Cheri May was wonderful and we look forward to returning.

We are from Texas and enjoyed the reprieve from the heat. We loved the location as we could walk to trails and downtown for restaurants and shopping. Management was responsive if we needed new dish towels or were out of TP or paper towels. Highly recommend this newly remodeled unit.

Enjoyed a brief stay in this clean, affordable, dog-friendly condo at Penney's. Great location but our group enjoys cooking and the kitchen has a great space but pans and knives are meager and/or outdated (poor condition), which makes it challenging to prepare a proper meal.

Great location and great space for a family of four. The beds, especially in the second bedroom had a very squeaky box spring and the pots and pans are all made with teflon and they were all scratched.the hot tub is very old and not very hot.

The condo was fine. The community hot tub wasn't working properly. Temperature was very low <100degrees. The hot tub cover was too heavy and awkward to manage. It was not advertised!

Very nice 2 bedroom condo, fully updated kitchen and bathrooms all in excellent condition. Heated floors in the bathrooms, awesome in winter! Fireplace is great, and living room area is super comfortable. So close to River Run lifts, a short walk through the woods and you're there, really easy. Short walk into downtown Ketchum too, perfect location to enjoy the best of Sun Valley/Ketchum skiing and town. We would absolutely stay here again in the future.

We had a great family ski vacation. We could ski to the resort or the owner/nephew would pick you up in the snowmobile and take you there or back. Super fun. The condo was comfortable and the heated floors in the bathrooms was a bonus.

Stayed 8 nights in early March, highly recommend. Can't beat the location to River Run lifts, just a short walk! Amenities and appliances are top notch - new and modern. Heated floors in the bathrooms are a nice touch as was the easy start gas fireplace. The Condo is EXACTLY as the pictures so you won't be disappointed. We will be booking again.

First time to Sun Valley. Our lodging was perfect. Spacious and clean unit, comfortable beds, lots of hot water, love the radiant heat bathroom floors. Ideal location to River Run base area and also close to downtown Ketchum. The property manager Cheri May was always available to answer any questions.

The condo was clean and as described. It was the closest place to the River Run base, which was fantastic. We had a wonderful stay! We do have a few suggestions for improvement: the internet needs to be upgraded and there needs to be a lot more cooking equipment given Covid is making it difficult to eat out (more plates and cups and utensils, etc). Overall though a wonderful holiday!

Wonderful stay. Perfect location. Great service clearing the snow from cars, walkways. Disappointed that the hot tub was broken several days. The kitchen could use more bowls, glasses. Will look forward to staying at Pennay's again. We loved it.

I've stayed at several places in Sun Valley and this was definitely over priced for the location and type of property. I felt like the photos of the property were much nicer than the actual place.

Great location, quiet. Good fro families with a pet. Close to Ketchum restaurants and to Sawtooth.

Have stayed here several times in different properties. Property is always clean & well maintained. The owner is always roaming around the grounds & is friendly & fulfills any needs we have had (only once was our propane tank empty & it was filled that nite!). The location can't be beat right on the river with the path right to River Run ski area - fantastic for dogs! Bike trail right above the property. Close to town - walkable to Main Street & all the. shops & restaurants. City bus stop at the corner too. Always enjoy staying here!

We loved it. Just the perfect walking distance to town, but far away enough to be away from the hubbub. Lovely evening sitting by the fire. Dog friendly. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable place to stay, lots of windows that allowed the view of the snow storm that came through during the stay. The fireplace topped off the experience. Have stayed multiple times and would return again.

What a wonderful location!!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful towards my family. Friends referred us to Pennay's and it added to the highlight of being in Idaho for my daughter's wedding. The owner and manager were so kind and on grounds always checking needs of guests. Sitting in the lawn area having a BBQ was so very relaxing. Rooms were very clean and the entire grounds are kept beautifully. Loved my stay at Pennay's and definitely will be returning.

Our unit was recently remodeled and had all of the necessities for our family. Also, the drive to downtown was just a few minutes for some shopping and restaurants. This was our first trip to Idaho and every single local we met was an enthusiastic ambassador for the state and resort.

Charming and update condo (unit 3) RIGHT on the river! Great amenities, close to everything! Perfect for our family reunion!

The location couldn't have been more perfect, minutes from town, a hop skip and jump to the trails and gondola to go up the mountain. Trees everywhere, river rushing below, and just so peaceful. We can't wait to book for the winter! Unit 3 was completely remodeled and just a lovely home base for my little family of 4.

A great place to celebrate a birthday, jump on the ski hill, golf or just relax and enjoy the views. We will be back.

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, remodeled condo at Pennay's. Perfect for our weekend stay - everything was clean & updated. Love the property there close to the river & having a grassy yard to walk around in. Best of all they take dogs! Have stayed before & will stay again soon. Totally recommend this property summer, fall, winter or spring!

My party of four spent 7 nights in this unit. It is within a short walking distance of town and Mount Baldy's River Run trails and lifts. The unit was modern, clean, and spacious, everything worked. The property manager, Cheri, was very accommodating and helpful. Without hesitation we would recommend this unit to anyone staying in Ketchum.

Pennay's is like staying at home. We stayed in Unit 3, the most newly renovated condo. Two bedrooms with kings in each, and two full bathrooms. There's a pull-out bed in the main hall closet for another sleeper. There's a hot tub out back, which we didn't use, but I did notice it. It's right on the trail to get to the ski lodge or start your hiking trails. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here.

Our family of four had a wonderful time during New Years week in Pennay's Unit 3. Nicely and comfortably decorated, wonderful fireplace, light and bright, immaculate. In addition there is on-site management and and mid-stay housekeeping. We loved walking to the River Run Lodge and Pennay's is convenient to everything.

Our stay at Pennay's was wonderful! We had a beautiful condo that looked out at the gorgeous mountain. We had everything we needed to make a wonderful dinner. The fire was lovely in the evenings too. The staff was awesome (Sherry). We look forward to staying there again soon!

My stay at Pennay's for my daughter's wedding was terrific. Unit #3 is great and comfortable. It is minutes from my daughter's house so very convenient. It's my new place to Slay in Ketchum! Sherry was great, too!

We spent six days in our condo and and have nothing but great things to say about our experience. Due to airline delays, we arrived at the condo at 2am. Cheri, who runs the facility was extremely accommodating; ensuring the condo would be open and available upon our arrival. An updated condo with all the amenities, we could ask for a better place to kick our shoes off and prop up our feet after a long day of fishing on the river. Four blocks off of Main Street, Ketchum, 100 yards from direct access to the Big Wood River and 300 yards from the ski lifts . . . you couldn't ask for a better locale.

Our stay at Pennays was very comfortable and offered us exactly what we needed. The condo has been beautifully remodeled. It was great there was a washer and dryer in the unit. We would definitely stay here again!

We have had the continued pleasure over the past 20+ years of spending vacation time at Pennay's. This years vacation was no exception. We were able to stay in Unit 3 for the 3 rd time. Everything is provided except the groceries! This year Unit 3 had been beautifully renovated and modernized. What a wonderful surprise! We were able to play in the whirlpool, walk and play in the river, walk to new Sun Valley Lodge, and enjoy all the shopping amenities of Ketchum. Stay at Pennay's! You will love it!!!
