Pennay's Unit 11

Wonderful accommodations, super clean and well laid out. Very comfortable king bed. Perfect location with easy access to the River Run lifts. Walking distance to town for dinner. Great for a couple staying multiple days. Highly recommend.

Pennay's is short ski to the lifts at River Run and walk to town for dinner.

The unit is modern and comfortable with beautiful furnishings and tile floors. The kitchen is well stocked for those who like to cook. Each area has it's own heater, so keeping the rooms at an appropriately comfortable temperature was very easy.
The location is extremely convenient- steps away from River Run Lodge, and short walk or drive to shops and restaurants in Ketchum. Wood River Trail is adjacent to the property, easy for running or cross country skiing.

Have stayed at Pennay's several times over the past few years. The location near the River Run lifts is convenient and the one-bedroom unit was large with a full kitchen and dining area. This particular unit is scheduled to be remodeled in the spring and is overdue, especially the tvs. Only other immediate improvement would be to have a few more items in the kitchen (e.g., cutting board, hot pads, and sharper knives). Management is attentive and guests are friendly. Our first choice of a place to stay in Sun Valley.

This is a great property for a ski vacation to Sun Valley's Bald Mountain. Super close to lifts (3-minute walk) and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Pennay's made it very easy! Everything was perfectly set up, I arrived and departed without needing to interact with management--though they were there! Proximity to the slopes is amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at Pennay's at River Run. The location is unbelievable with the lifts a very short walk (or ski) and a snowmobile shuttle at the end of the day. This is a fantastic family-friendly, dog-friendly location. Shopping and restaurants are very close as are hiking/biking/snowshoe/xcountry ski paths.

It’s just so easy to stay here, our kiddos love it and the convenience is unparalleled. The condo kitchen is well stocked with all we need to cook and whip up morning pancakes. The bedrooms are comfortable and private, kids slept well and relaxed in the living room. Getting to the slopes in 5 mins is a treat, can ski out your back door to the bridge. Close to downtown and lovely morning walks on the path. We love it here and plan to return as often as we visit Sun Valley!

From arrival to departure our visit to Pennay's was great. The host is great and shows her commitment to you having a great rental experience. Property is dog friendly. We enjoyed the walking and biking trails and the Big Wood River that are right by Pennay's. The property was as advertised. Idaho has been unusually hot this summer and some properties like Pennay's do not have AC so ask before booking in the area if it is a necessity for you. Downtown Ketchum is walking distance from Pennay's and has great shops, dining, bike rentals, etc. In the summer walk around the grounds at Sun Valley Lodge and Sun Valley Inn and enjoy the beautiful flowers.

We loved staying at Pennay’s at River Run resort. Our accommodations were perfectly located (walking distance to the resort and Ketchum), comfortable, clean, and we had a great relaxing vacation. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!

All good except bed, bedding, including sheets, pillow cases, pillows and covers. Plus no extra blanket for cold Ketchum winters.
Need a serious upgrade on these items..
Otherwise , property management was very professional and helpful with ski tickets. Location is great

This place was great from booking to checkout! The place was very clean and had all the bath and kitchen essentials. The bed was comfortable and they allowed pets, which was great for us. The location was perfect by the river and trail to take a walk, run or bike ride, and an easy walk into town. We will definitely stay here again.

Modern facilities with old-fashioned service and courtesy. Amazing maintenance during huge storm meant we were safe, and the location was still convenient. Despite the snow we could still walk to the lifts, not have to dig out our car or wait for the shuttle. On top of that we came back from the slopes to find our car cleared of snow so we could drive to dinner.

Great experience with condominium rental at Pennay’s. Simple check in, staff expecting my arrival. Cozy spot, convenient close parking. Awesome location at the base of the mountain and right near the river bike path. This is not the brand new, high end unit right downtown, but a clean, very comfortable unit in a very quiet location! 5And only a 5 minute walk to downtown Ketchum.

Great place for a family event!

I have stayed at Pennays at River Run for 3 years straight. IF you are here to ski it is the closest condos to the River Run lifts. you can ski in ski out or if you are lucky the ski shuttle will be running to take you and pick you up. The propriteor Mr. Alan Pennay is a love bug, such a nice man and his property Manager Cheri is also great, anything you need she will get it done. She is a real sweetheart. It is a older condo complex so expect some vintage decor but still very comfortable.I highly recommend Pennays Condos.

We stayed for a week at Pennay's with a bunch of our family and friends. It was the perfect location for a week's gathering celebrating the wedding of our son. Great location near the river and gondola up to Mt Baldy. Easy walk to eateries and shops. Courtyard/garden to get together with the crowd. Level of accommodation second to none. Loved it.

excellent staff (Cheri) and owner adding lots of little touches that kept us happy, pointing us to any local need and pickup at bridge with the sleigh at end of day. Great stay. Only negative unit 11 needs update.

You can't find a closer condo to Mt Baldy's River Run main lift/gondola area if you are a skier/boarder. For summertime it was close to an expansive long newly built walking/bike path. As a fisherman, it offered easy access to very long accessible stretches of the Big Wood River where large trout were plentiful.

Alan and Sherry were great condo hosts. A true measure of good character and great management is when something goes wrong in a rental. One such example was when Alan was very quick to respond to fixing a garbage disposal problem we had. Also, they both were very courteous and helpful in pointing out things to do in Ketchum, etc. during our stay.

The condo's outdoor hot tub and massive new outdoor stainless BBQ grill were great pluses during our stay. The condo was clean, the kitchen had ample tools and appliances, nice flat screen TVs, and the beds were comfy. We would come back for sure. A+ for summertime rental worth and with the closest proximity to walk to the main ski lift in the winter it would be an awesome place to rent for skiing at Mt Baldy. They offer free shuttle back to condos after skiing via snowmobile.

We would recommend this to others. Pet friendly too. Our two pups enjoyed the shady-grassy grounds and easy to access long hikable trails and free dog treats at Mt Baldy's River Run ski lodge.
